Welding arc stability, easy operation, welding parts can not preheat, it is a cast iron cold welding electrode, crack resistance, machining, weld strength and other comprehensive performance is better, is widely used in cast iron thin parts and machining surface repair welding.

Description :Z408 is a cast iron welding rod with nickel-iron alloy as the welding core and strong reducing graphite coating can be used for both AC and DC. The weld metal is characterized by high strength, good plasticity and low coefficient of linear expansion. The cracking property of gray cast iron is similar to Z308, but it is stronger than Z308 for ductile cast iron. It also has a good effect on cast iron with higher phosphorus content (0.2%P). The machining performance is slightly worse than Z308 and Z508.

Description :Z508 is a cast iron electrode with nickel copper alloy (Monel) as the welding core and strong reducing graphite type coating. It can be used for both AC and DC, stable arc and easy operation. Its process performance and cutting performance are close to Z308, but due to the large shrinkage rate, poor K-crack, weld strength is also low, so it is not suitable for welding of the stressed part, in order to stop the crack, it is recommended to use 150-300℃ preheating.
